Every day going on social media you can see volumes of new posts about cars been nicked off the drive, from parking lots and even from the side of the road when the unsuspecting owners have popped to the shops or a mates house. Seeing these got us thinking, what are the most stolen cars in the UK? So we compiled a list from sources on the internet.

This information is especially useful for the more risk averse of you when choosing a next car. For us, it’s always an indication of what we could consider a higher risk vehicle when we go out for inspections. Unsurprisingly some of the cars on the Top 10 often fail our Stolen Car Checks and many sellers are unaware they are in possession of a stolen or cloned vehicle.

The Range Rover Vogue, well.. All range rovers of a certain time period have been easy pickings for criminals (As you’ll see on this list) . Whether its relay machines, key reprogramming or simply home invasion. Range Rovers have to be near the top in terms of most stolen vehicles (and among the most expensive on this list)

Newer versions of these models has seen significant security updates however there is a large span of years which are simply very easy to pinch.

Notorious for relay machine car thefts, the fiesta has been a winner for the coveted ‘Most Stolen Car Award’ for a number of years running. 

Easy to steal and will blend in with is brothers and sisters, the Fiesta has been a big target or criminals. There’s always a demand for parts as there are so many on the road. Often associated with new drivers, Fiesta parts are common stock in many breakers yards and salvage sites.
